What we've been taught in old traditional and non-effective cold call training approaches is to be forcefull and take control. But this type of behaviour causes you to come off as "Pushy" and conrolling, and when this is felt we tend to run away from it, thus rendering the call completely useless and a waste of time for you and your recipient.
If both sides (cold caller and prospect) aren't having a two-way conversation, it's going to be taken as manipulative and pressure will be felt from both of you.
So instead, invite mutual participation and allow the conversation to flow. You’ll be surprised how relaxed and effective this can be. Completely eliminating all pressure from your cold calling conversations will open up a much more natural and effective way of interacting with your prospects. The less pressure you project, the more successful you’ll likely be.
Until our next message,
Keep your cold calls easy, relaxed and low-key...
Give us your feedback of experiences.
