Discerning a Customer's Issues in Cold Calling

Adam Price - Monday, June 27, 2011
Regard the person you’re cold calling as another person, not as a “prospect.” find out their problems and their goals. adapt yourself into their reality. And support them .

If the program or item you’re offering doesn’t yield some kind of benefit to people, you’d soon be out of a job. So figure out exactly what kind of problems you have a solution for, and impart from that place. And if no transaction results, it feels fine because you’re centering on being helpful rather than on assuring a sale.

What I’m presenting is a shift of mind away from all the traditional ideas of misleading, swaying, handling, playing, and cinching. change your cold calling into one simple human act –establishing a relationship. When you’re making friends and doing business with folks you like and whom also like you, then cold calling can turn into a truly enjoyable experience of your day.

Till our next tip...

Keep your cold calling warm, open and authentic!
