The Force Multiplier Effect
In the military there is a term called "The Force Multiplier Effect" and it's identified as the capability, which when any one element of a force is added to a particular combat force unit it raises the power and potential of victory of that unit by a certain percentage.
This force is based around the militaristic discipline of creating many different ways to penetrate an enemies ground simultaneously and hence catching them off guard and overpowering and surprising them.
How then is this useful in terms of our own marketing?
If you look at each area of attack that your company has to penetrate deeper into your market, you will understand this principal moreso, for example, in the military it could be by sea, funnel attack, side attack, surprise attack (guerilla warefare), missiles, going ahead to penetrate and soften the market head on, air force, land invasion all in one synergistic move.
This is a proven, strategic and planned way of dominating your enemy in military terms. And when this is applied to your business and the surrounding competitors it's devestatingly efficient in winning your chosen territory.
It's the act of letting the full focre of every aspect of marketing that you have at your disposal and there's over 300 guerilla marketing techniques alone, over 80 marketing techniques etc that you can implement, that will carry you to greatness if only you decide to study them and implement as many as possible.
So try adding just a few new strategies, techniques, advertising mediums to your business effectively this week and then test and measure the results. If you get no results of course, you know that you're doing something wrong, it's NOT the prospects your delivering to, it's the message or strategy that you're carrying out that is at fault and hence needs tweaking until it works.
Keep at this enough and you will get wins, I promise you!
